THE council has resubmitted plans to demolish derelict buildings at a former college site after a previous application was withdrawn.
Should plans be approved, the buildings, at the former Bournemouth and Poole College campus in Constitution Hill Road, Poole, would all be demolished.
BCP Council would like to build homes on the site, to help home families in temporary accommodation in the area.
The previous application was withdrawn after planners told the council’s agent, Chapman Lily Planning Ltd, that they would be refused if they weren’t withdrawn.
This is as one of the buildings listed to be demolished has already been knocked down.

This was the derelict Broughton House building, which was levelled over safety concerns following a large fire.
The site was purchased by the then-Poole Borough Council in 2015.
The withdrawn application was met with 21 objections from neighbours, with many citing the history and cultural significance of the site for residents who studied or taught at the college when it was in use.
For the resubmitted application, neighbour comments are welcome until May 18.
There is no date set at this stage for a decision on the plans.
