WESSEX Cancer Trust have revealed that they have provided 2,500 support sessions and taken 1,200 calls to its helpline during lockdown.
The charity’s remote services have been in high demand since the coronavirus pandemic forced it to temporarily close its support centres on March 23.
As well as this, Wessex Cancer Trust have provided over 500 counselling sessions, delivered 129 distance therapy sessions and made 11 support videos which have had over 2000 views.
