RUNNERS from all over Dorset legged it to Kings Park Stadium, Bournemouth to raise money for child cancer victims.
Proceeds from the 10 kilometre Fun Run on August 19, 1990, went towards a new cancer unit at Southampton Hospital named after 12-year-old Bournemouth spinal cancer victim Piam Brown.
Hi DI Hi star Barry Howard handed out medals at the races, organised by the Piam Brown Child Cancer Fund.
More than 1,000 runners took part.
Adult winners were Cristine Benning and B Nixon.
First place positions in the children's races were clinched by Louise Bennett, Aaron Watts, Rebecca Long and Kevin Christopher.
