POLICE are becoming "increasingly worried" for the welfare of a man who has gone missing from the Poole area.

Glen Bartlett, 45, left an address in Blandford Road, Upton, shortly after 1.15am on Monday, August 10, in his white estate Peugeot 305 with registration CP65 AMX.

He was reported missing at 9.42am the same day.

He was said to be upset and did not take his mobile phone with him. Subsequent enquiries have revealed he may be north of Glasgow in Scotland.

He is described as white, five feet eight inches tall, of large build, bald and with facial stubble. He has a tattoo on the top of his right arm of a wolf head and wind catcher. He was last seen wearing blue shorts and a white and blue Firetrap T-shirt.

Chief Inspector Alan Setchell, of Dorset Police, said: “We know Glen was upset when he left the address and we are becoming increasingly worried about him.

“As a result of enquiries we believe he may be in the Glasgow area of Scotland. I would urge anyone who has seen Glen, or a man matching the description and image given, to please contact Dorset Police.

“Finally, if Glen sees this appeal – please call us as we and your family are worried about you and we just want to know you are safe.”
