THREE people became stuck while trying to rescue a dog from a Bournemouth cliff face.
The incident happened to the west of Durley Chine on Thursday evening, October 29.
Southbourne Coastguard was called to the scene at 8.10pm.
Poole Coastguard Rescue Team and Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Team also attended.
A spokesperson for Southbourne Coastguard Rescue Team said: “We attempted to locate the casualties by deploying Poole CRT along promenade while Southbourne CRT began setting up cliff technician and edge safety officer on the West Overcliff Drive immediately above the promenade.”
“News soon came through that the casualties had self-recovered and were safe and well along with their dog. Therefore we stood down and returned to station.”
