A CCTV image has been released after two men entered the garden of a property in Poole and tried to gain entry to the house.

A security camera was ripped off the wall during the incident which happened in Petersham Road, Creekmoor, at around 9pm on Saturday, October 17.

Police said a light was damaged and tool marks were left on the front and rear windows.

Officers attended and searched the address, but there was nobody inside.

As part of their investigation, police have now released an image of a man they would like to identify.

Police Constable Jamie Spry, of Poole police, said: “Thankfully, no entry was gained to the property and nothing was stolen.

“As part of my enquiries into the incident I have obtained an image of one of the male suspects and I would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
